First married in 1950, Elizabeth Taylor wed hotel heir Conrad 'Nicky' Hilton, Jr., at the young age of 18. Her cream colored silk satin gown was a gift by MGM and was custom crafted by costume designer Helen Rose. Rose, consider the grandest designer of Hollywood's Golden age, later designed (arguably) the most iconic wedding dress in history- the Princess of Monaco Grace Kelly. Taylor and Hilton divorced just eight years later and she went on to famously wed seven more times. The gown sold at a London auction in June 2013 for $187,931.
